Ingredients
6 x Porkinson Original Sausages 400g green beans (French or runners) 4 x spring onions, finely sliced 4 x large black Turkish figs Icing sugar Olive oil Knob of butter Pinch of salt & pepper Balsamic vinegar

Method
Set oven to 160oC. Slice each fig into six segments, place onto parchment paper, dust with icing sugar and place in oven for 30 minutes. Fry Porkinsons in a little olive oil. Bring a pan of salted water to the boil, cook beans until tender then drain. Toss beans in a warm pan with the butter, salt and pepper. Add figs, spring onions and a couple of drops of balsamic vinegar. Pile onto a warm plate with the Porkinsons and serve with creamy mashed or buttered new potatoes
