The Famous Porkinson Banger is still faithfully made to the exacting standards of Norman Parkinson's traditional West Country recipe. A few tweaks here and there but no compromise ever made on quality or on taste. After all, Porkinson is the definitive luxury sausage and that doesn't change.

Parks never took himself too seriously, often composing his photographs in his own eccentric way, but always with tongue firmly in cheek. Our advertising has adopted this philosophy throughout the years, and we invite you to peruse our archives. Apart from the launch in 1987, it is only recently that we have promoted Porkinson in the press, on billboards, and on London Underground.

Oh, and of course we were on the quintessential British icon – the black cab. Where else would you advertise a banger?
